Yibaneh & Tsofia are engaged

We didn't start the day with an engagement in mind. Just regular Purim. Here are the costumed duo. Lurking. Plans for the evening.

We gathered in the evening, just the couple and parents, to talk about, well, things. For a little background, Tsofia is the girl next-door. Just like in the fairy tales. A lot of this is like in the fairy tales.

Things progressed to more things. So we talked about them too. Yibaneh and Tsofiya have been in same-sex schools since first-grade, but still somehow managed to develop the skills necessary to identify the characteristics they thought important in a life partner.

Here's the consortium. Parents here, parents there, and two very young kids in the middle. Not quite 19 at the engagement, though they will be by the 10th of Tammuz (June 29), when they plan to get married. Meet you in Shilo.

Then everyone grabbed a phone, and started calling friends and family. The house filled up with dancing, singing, and speaking words of tora into the night. 2 AM, to be precise.

Also singing, dancing, and more of the same...

This is what bride-to-be and groom-to-be look like when they're not staring into a camera. Much happier folk.
In truth, everyone there was pretty happy. Borderline ecstatic. A good day for Am Yisrael.
