Shilo

The holy city of Shilo, the first capital city of Israel and site of
the Tabernacle for 369 years. During this time, Shilo was the City
that united Israel in their Prayer and Worship of God.
It is written in the Gemara (Yoma) that the smell
of the Ketoret (incense burnt in the tabernacle which connects
the people of Israel with God and brings  great joy) could still be
smelt in Shilo more than 1000 years after it's Destruction.

We can still smell it today.

The central verse
ÒGod's presence continues to be revealed in Shilo.Ó
( The Book of Samuel 1 )
